Fitness Studio & Interconnecting Feature Stair For Renowned Ballet School

JRM Construction Management completed a comprehensive build‑out for The School of American Ballet, expanding their facilities at 70 Lincoln Center Plaza in New York City with a new sixth‑floor space.

The project introduced both a strength and conditioning studio and a dedicated Pilates studio, giving students access to specialized training environments within the school. Additionally, a newly built staircase now connects the fifth‑floor reception area directly to the sixth floor, creating a natural flow between the two levels.

The expansion also includes a welcoming student lounge, quiet study rooms, a pantry, and ADA‑compliant restrooms. JRM created new offices for teaching staff, along with physical therapy suites developed to support the needs of students. Together, these additions create a balanced environment that combines academic focus, physical training, and student support.
